DFSA Alumni Day - Wednesday 28th January 2015

Building on the success of our first DFSA event last year,  the DFSA team are putting together a programme of exciting events.

Here is a first glimpse:

The day will start with a talk by internationally renowned artist, curator and academic Lanfranco Aceti, who is a Visiting Professor in Goldsmiths and has also recently been appointed Visiting Professor in New York University.

Lanfranco Aceti Inc. is a studio that develops artistic and curatorial commissions, projects, publications and academic events for international biennials, museums and festivals. We hope his presentation will inspire our students to be daring and imaginative with their work and discuss how digital media can be used in unexpected and original ways. He will demonstrate to alumni and students alike the diversity of their options given he is working in so many different fields.

Our DFSA alumni will be invited to this event and already a number have confirmed they will be on the 'Life after DFSA' Q&A panel during the afternoon.

The day will finish with a reception in the James Hockey Gallery to coincide with the opening of the Y2 Maps & Journeys exhibition.

Please make sure that this date is in your diary.
